A couple weeks ago, I talked about true love, and what people could learn from Lil' Wayne's song, "How to Love." Well, today I came across this video that beautifully captures what I was trying to say. Chris Draft, a professional football player, married the love of his life one month before she died of cancer. Given the shallow understanding of love that's pervasive in American culture today, I celebrate this man's integrity for marrying his girl who was sick.
This video is powerful because it gives us a glimpse of what true, sacrificial, unconditional love looks like. Don't blame me if you cry. I tried to warn you. =)
